Gazillion Days - Single Day In History (by Kristen)

MORNING

This has been some day, I tell you what. This month the management company for our house has sent us two eviction notices for different things, as well as today giving everyone else eviction notices. Today the one we received says that we have to leave because there is trash all over. My roommate confirmed that there is no trash anywhere and this is the second fabrication the management company has come up with this month.

AFTERNOON

You see, what had happened was, a couple months ago the city of Los Angeles Housing Department came to do their annual inspection of the premises to make sure things were being maintained and the tenants were living in livable conditions. The management company was cited for so many things that they have not been able to fix them all, on top of they are unprofessional and think that if they ignore problems they will just go away. So the citys case is still open, and there is a hearing scheduled for July 1st. At that time the judge may rule that they will be forced to fix all of these things and pay for the relocation of all the tenants.

EVENING

Any fool can see that they are trying to get the tenants out as quickly and quietly as possible in order to not incur so many charges from the city or the cost of relocation. This is driving me crazy and giving me ulcers I believe. My roommate is also being made sick over all this stress and was just in the hospital for a week. Why is it that people have to be so bad to other people?
