THE BEGINNING
MORNING

I wake up with barely enough time to be ten minutes late for work. I rush to change and run for the car, cursing the fact that I have to escape from home before I can be off; unlock and open the gate, revive the car from it's slumber, pull out into the street, get out of the car again to close and lock the gate. Now I'm in morning traffic wishing I didn't live this close to two huge schools. Finally, after the gauntlet of veering across oncoming traffic to park, I'm at work. Usually by this time some minor crisis has evolved that needs attention before I'm able to get life saving caffeine into my veins. One day, hopefully, I'll learn the trick of getting up in the morning without the assistance of a forklift.
AFTERNOON

I've forgotten about lunch again and it's past three already. The woozy, floaty feeling and the fact that I'm really mean to my co-workers, suggests I need something besides coffee in my body, so I flee into the street. There's quite the variety of meals available in the area, but alas time and budget constraints usually mean I end up eating a pie. Not the best idea, considering it nearly always leads to heartburn. Sometimes you have to really listen to what your body is saying and mine is saying, "NO MORE PIES!". Maybe if I just plan this better I could have a decent lunch once in a while or I could even get up earlier and make something at home, yeah right!
