THE BEGINNING
MORNING

That day was about 2 months ago, and it is was a turning point that marked a new era of my life. The morning was very typical that I don't remember exactly how I spent it, but most probably I spent it with a book.
AFTERNOON

After lunch I went to the American Univercity in Cairo (AUC) to meet a very old friend of mine. I went by the underground as usual, and when I arrived there she was with some friends of hers of whom I knew no one.
EVENING

I grabbed a seat and sat beside her, and we talked for some time to catch up and so. I gave her a book she gave me some time before, we talked about it a little, and then a friend of hers was passing by so she talked with her a little and I sat silent. Out of nowhere, a friend of hers sitting right in front of me said "I wanna destroy you!". I was all red, or at least I think I was, and I didn't know what to say but "go ahead!". she then said something like "why is everybody respond nicely when I am rude!" and we started talking. well, I was such an asshole I didn't even ask her about her name! she did most of the talking, and got only aprubt answers out of me. I hated myself for being such a jerk, and that was how in a few days I saw in myself things I have never seen before. My way of valuing people changed entirely after that, I lost interest in many who lost interest in me a long time ago, and I started dealing with strangers a little bit better.
THE END
