THE BEGINNING
MORNING
Mornings are usually spent preparing my kids for school, getting the house into some kind of habitable state (which is necxt to impossible with three kids and the youngest being a toddler of two), and of course the other domestic chores like laundry, dishes, mending, gardening and other endless tasks that God seemed to have favored women to do.
AFTERNOON
Afternoons are a bit laid back, thats when I find the time to get some writing energy flowing. I would usually go out for a walk or do something that would ignite an itch to write.
Mostly I really do it for fun and as an outlet for some of the things that run through my brain and have nowhere to go to except on paper. I would normally spend four to five hours in front of the computer writing stuff that sometimes connect and admittedly sometimes don't.
It doesn't matter to me, I can always get back to them and pick up bits and pieces and put together a story, but for somebody else who's looking at my notes it would probably look like gibberish.
EVENING
After the sun goes down I'd have to give up my travels to the far corners of my brain and go back to being a mom and a wife. Its time to prepare dinner and enjoy my husband's company. The later is just as enjoyable as writing.
