THE BEGINNING
MORNING

I was originally going to go into bio-tech or some other career related to biology when I spoke to my counselor a year ago. But since then, things have changed. My friends are trying to start a company and I want to be a part of it.

I'm still only a sophomore at UCSD. But I've agreed to help them by writing about my life on this website. My task will be get some young people to sign up for this site. They will pay me based on how many I can get.

After seeing how they work as a group, I want the chance to be an executive or VIP. I know that I should probably start small but they are teaching me many things about small business. I feel like this may be my big break.

So, beginning at the end of March, I started dedicating my time to this possibilty.
AFTERNOON

Whenever I'm not in class or working at my part-time job, I think about ideas of how to get the word to the most amount of people. Right now, we are doing testing and seeing if there are any bugs on Gazillion Days.

But once I get the okay, I will probably start by emailing my friends and have them email their friends. I was thinking about starting a blog on Blogger.com or something like that. I also thought that I could pay a couple of classmates a percentage of what I will get paid. That way I could make use of more resources.

My relatives might have co-workers that might sign up too. So, I'll probably call them and ask them for help. I think about the common phrase "six degrees of separation" and wonder how I can get the word out to everyone in the entire country.
EVENING

For now, my new career choice is set. I'll see how far this takes me. But I'll also keep my eyes open for other opportunities.

Some of my friends laugh when I tell them of my high goals. I think if you don't dream big, you may miss out on your best opportunities.

I hope I can look back on this post someday and tell my friends and family that I fulfilled my goal. That I saw my chance and that I took it.
THE END
