THE BEGINNING
MORNING

Another typical day at UCSD. I get to school around 8:30am. Today, I will start my tutoring gig. I meet the student later after my morning classes.

My English class is pretty normal. We go over the first couple chapters of our textbook. Some of the students are called to read parts of the book. I'm lucky I don't get called.

History class is mostly taking notes. We watch some slides and the teacher discusses some important dates for this quarter.

I go eat lunch now. I get a subway sandwich and go to my tutoring job.
AFTERNOON

I meet the student at the library. We will meet twice a week to go over homework and answer questions. I took Physics last year and found out that I understood it for some reason.

We go over basic principles of acceleration and speed. I test the student on some of the equations used to calculate these things.

When our hour is up, I go over to my friend's place to play some games and watch tv. He lives on campus in one of the two bedroom dorms.

Some other friends come over and we hang out for a while. They want to go to the mall. But I'm kinda tired so I stay at school. My carpool will be done with his class soon and I'd rather catch a ride home today.
EVENING

I don't do much tonight. I just take a shower and do a little homework. I chat with some friends online about the upcoming weekend and what we should do.

I go online to do some research on laptops. I've been meaning to buy one so that I could take it to school but I'm not sure which one to get. I want a very light one but it also has to be fast and reliable.

Its not that urgent, but I'd like to have one to do my internship stuff and possibly take notes with.

Of course, I worry that I might break it and be out a thousand bucks. So, I'm thinking about getting something cheap to begin with.

Well, I guess I should worry about that after I buy one. I go to bed thinking about which laptop I can talk myself into.
