Gazillion Days - Single Day In History (by bookworm)

MORNING

Friday's are the days I work when I'm in school. My carpool usually has class and I usually don't. So, I go to school to do some work. We leave my place around 8:45am and head to UCSD.

I've been at my internship for a couple of quarters now. It's pretty simple. I watch videos and read articles about NASA's projects and then write up my own reviews.

I get some breakfast first and then go to work. I write about the Phoenix project that is going to land on Mars next month. I look for some pictures that I can print out for my reference.

AFTERNOON

I get hungry and go for lunch at Revelle's cafeteria. I don't eat there often, so I thought I would go there for a change. There is another library there that I sometimes go to get homework done.

I take a break from it all and go play some tennis with my friends. I borrow a racket from a guy that lives on campus and we play at the Muir tennis courts.

My friends and I aren't that good but its so much fun just getting a tan and smashing tennis balls. Its more fun to play at night but I've got a dinner reservation tonight.

We play a couple of double games and then sit in the grass under a couple of trees to cool off. I go shower off at a friend's place and get ready for dinner.

EVENING

The reservation is at a place in downtown. It's one of my friends birthday and they wanted to try a new place. It's a thai place that looks much bigger when you go inside.

I try the spicy noodles and the thai iced tea. Its pretty good. I always love a good spicy thai dish. The atmosphere is really nice too. I'd recommend it if I could only remember the name of it.

We go to the Player's bar in Clairemont but they are pretty packed. So, we go over to the Boomers to play some minature golf. Some of the guys go to the batting cages. But I stick with the minature golf.

We consider going to go bowling next but many of us are tired. So, we are going to save that for some other night.
